7 Days Motorbike Tour Ha Giang Vietnam - Guided Motorbike Tour Hagiang loop Vietnam

DAY 1, HANOI VULINH VILLAGE. 200KM (L,D)
Meeting at your hotel then transfer by bus or taxi to Vietnamontrails’s Garage (Out skirt of Hanoi). Take the bike and start the first day ride to Vu Linh, a small village located 200km in the Northeast of Hanoi.
Mixture of smooth roads, dirt tracks and small paved roads going through local villages. Enjoy the Red river Delta scenery, farming lands. Meet the daily life in the wild environment. Lunch at a local restaurant or picnic in on route.
Stay overnight and have special dinner with our friends of the Dao’s minority in a traditional stilt house.

DAY 2, VU LINH VILLAGE – HAGIANG TOWN. 170KM (B,L,D)
Keep riding up North to the high mountain region of Ha Giang, a small town located near China border.
Mixture of small paved roads and village off-road tracks. Visit many ethnic minorities, including the Dao, H’mong, Tay, and Nung peoples along the way. Lunch in local restaurant. Good dinner and overnight at a nice hotel in Ha Giang town.

DAY 3. HA GIANG – MEO VAC. 200km (Ha Giang Loop) (B,L,D)
Taking the Ha Giang Loop along the China border. Beautiful ride on small twisty road goes up in the high mountain area, where living the Hmong and Dao minority peoples.
Beautiful day with many stops for photos and visiting to small local villages along the way. Discover the highest and most beautiful mountain pass of Vietnam.
Meo Vac is a small town, Capital of the Hmong peoples. Dinner and overnight at a small hotel.

…Meo Vac is a small but charming district capital hemmed in by steep karst mountains and, like many towns in the northwest, it is steadily being settled by Vietnamese from elsewhere. The journey here along the spectacular Mai Pi Leng Pass, which winds for 22km from Dong Van, is the main attraction. The road has been cut into the side of a cliff with a view of rippling hills tumbling down to the distant waters of the Nho Que River far below. Right at the top of the pass is a lookout point where you can stop to take in the scenery..

DAY 4. MEO VAC (B,L,D)
All day riding to visit the interesting places in Dong Van as the Skywalk, Hmong’s King palace, baot trip in Nho Que river…Return to the same homestay for the night.

DAY 5 MEO VAC – CAO BANG. 220km (B,L,D)
A long day ride with mostly small tracks/off-road trails, village routes that climb over many mountain passes. Stop to visit many beautiful villages of Tay peoples and enjoy beautiful mountain ranges and valleys. Lunch at a local Vietnamese restaurant.
In the afternoon, riding on a small quiet twisty route until Cao Bang City. Acommodation at a hotel located by the border with China

DAY 6. CAO BANG – BABE LAKE. 210KM (B,L,D)
Short day ride on the easy smooth road no3 until the Windy pass, stop for lunch at a local restaurant.
Continue to Babe Lake by taking the small tracks that goes over many beautiful villages of the Hmong and Tay peoples.
Arrive in Babe Lake in the afternoon. Take a short boat trip to discover the most beautiful nature lake in Vietnam. Overnight at a local family home-stay.

…Babe is the largest natural lake in Vietnam. It is located in Nam Mẫu commune, Ba Bể district, Bắc Kạn Province in the Northeast region of the country.
Having been formed approximately 200 million years ago, the lake is surrounded by limestone cliffs, which in turn are covered by primary forests. The lake comprises three zones named Pé Lầm, Pé Lù, and Pé Lèng. Three rivers, named Năng, Tả Han, and Nam Cường, are the main inflows of the lake. The Năng river enters the lake through a large waterfall called Đầu Đẳng. In the lake there are also three islands, named Án Mã, Khẩu Cúm, and Po Gia Mải (literally “Widow’s Island”).

DAY 7. BABE LAKE – HANOI 240km. (B,L,D)
Staying off the main road for as long as possible. Head back towards the Red River Delta, passing through areas inhabited by Hmong, Dao, Tay and Nung minority peoples. A mixture of both challenging track and glorious sealed road all the way back to Hanoi.
Lunch on route. Tour finishes at Vietnamontrails Garage by 15h30PM.

The following cost has been calculated for a party from 1 – 15 people. Please note that the cost is different depending on the type of motorbike that you choose for you trip.

Customers take single room at hotel, extra charge: $35 US /night.

• Travel Insurance. All persons are expected to arrange their own insurance. We highly recommend purchasing travel insurance from home.

As per our company policy, booking will only be confirmed on receipt of advance deposit.

 Deposit and Payment

Deposit can be settled by cash or wire transfer 90 days at least before the departure. The balance can be paid by cash or credit cards upon your arrival in Vietnam.

 Amendment

There is no fee for any change or amendment you make prior to your final confirmation. Otherwise, amendment or cancellation fees may be charged (subject to Vietnamontrails tour supplier policy). Because we will launch the booking reservation immediately after we receive your final confirmation and starting from that point, service’s amendment/cancellation fees may be applied by our local service providers such as hotel, restaurants, airlines companies…

Please note that we will not charge you any fee if our service providers do not charge us.
